“At a governance level TETA is managed by a Board appointed by the Minister of Higher Education and Training in terms of the Skills Development Act, 1998. The Board is responsible for, amongst others, providing strategic direction and leadership which is aligned to TETA’s value system by reviewing and approving budgets, plans and strategies for TETA and monitoring the implementation of such strategic plans and approving the capital funding for such plans. The Board has established the following committees to assist it in the execution of its duties, powers and authorities:
- Executive Committee;
- Governance and Strategy Committee;
- Finance, Remuneration and Human Resources Committee; and
- Audit and Risk Committee.
