Mandatory Grant
Employers with an annual payroll of over R500 000 pay a Skills Development Levy amounting to 1% of the payroll to SARS. Of this, 80% is handed over to TETA, and companies can claim back up to 50% of this levy through the submission of a WSP and ATR to the relevant Chamber in accordance with the TETA Grant Criteria.
