Activities The proposed new Taxi industry qualification (National Certificate: Taxi Operations)
Taxi Chamber is gearing itself towards introducing a much anticipated National certificate in Taxi Operations NQF level 2, which qualification is aimed at addressing specific needs of the Taxi industry at large.
Strategic Partners TETA takes its strategic partners seriously and for this reason seeks to enter into Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with such partners. The following institutions have been identified shortly. The purpose of the MOU is to regulate and formalise relationships for specific goals to be achieved in a joint partnership.
- Provincial Department of Transport
- South African National Taxi Council
- South African Metered Taxi Council
- South African Transport Allied Workers Union
The Chambers continuously seek to establish new partnerships for skills development revolution and identify and assist those companies that are wrongly registered with other Sector Education and Training Authorities to come to TETA.
