• Focus on establishing of the Provincial Training Committees.

  • Increase the number of SMME’s participants in the Taxi Industry.

  • Look at ways and means of increasing levy payer’s database by capacitating the industry in viewing the benefits of Skills Development.

  • Focus on implementing raining that will address targets as set in the TETA Service Level Agreement with DoL.

  • Continue to encourage participation from non participating stakeholders that are currently paying levy.

  • Fund the training that focuses in addressing the industry’s scarce and critical skills training so as to reduce shortage.

  • Encourage stakeholder to use accredited service providers to ensure that learners acquire credits.

  • Develop a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Transport in order to establish partnership to meet the critical needs and address challenges faced by this industry.
